
How to setup an Icecast streaming server & web radio (Part 2) – Looking at streaming clients
Hey there,
Right now, we’ve setup the Icecast server on a Linux VM at Digitalocean so we’re ready to stream some music over there. Once you are streaming, a website, Android App or any other application can use that stream to output audio to a device.
We will be talking about 2 kind of ways to stream to our Icecast server:
- A server based (automated) client
- A local based (manual mostly) client
